Actually, I want to post something tiny. A secret? A look inside. A little treat for the voyeur.

Sometimes when my grandma upsets my mom on the phone, my mom will tell her to call her back when she's someone else. And she will. And she is.

My grandma got a DUI a while back. Not because she was actually drunk. But because who my grandma was that day wasn't old enough to drive. I mean!

Are you scared of losing your mind, reader? Do you idly ever wonder what it's like be "crazy"? Or do you know what it's like?

The best defense against this is to simply be on guard all the time. I have learned that the only time you should actually worry that you've lost your mind, is when you're not scared at all. The only time it is not OK to be convinced is when you are convinced you're right, and everyone else is wrong, and you'll just have to make everyone see it.....

Other tells you might be slipping into an episode include a highly elevated mood, a reduced need for sleep, general feelings of power, and weirdly enough, increased goal-directed activity. This can be generative and fruitful even.
